Who we are
PORAG is inspired by my grandfather's legacy—a man who saw a need in his community and took action. He built a community marketplace that not only provided access to fresh groceries and essentials but also created job opportunities and transformed the neighborhood. His impact didn’t end with his life; it continues to thrive with every family that shops there.
As his granddaughter, I’ve always aspired to serve in my own way. What I saw in our community schools was heartbreaking: limited funding, outdated resources, no access to technology, and a lack of opportunities to grow. I knew this was my path—my chance to give back.
So I started PORAG, with the goal of improving one school at a time.
